The IEEE (Institute of Engineers and Everyone Else) Club achieved a significant success by securing second place in the Teknofest Finals

The IEEE Club of İstinye University, with their “Cansuyu” team, won second place and a 50,000 TL prize in the Teknofest Humanitarian Technology Disaster Management category with their project “Intravenous Fluid Infusion Device That Heats Fluid Along the Horizontal Axis for Patients.” The project developed the first-ever medical device design in the literature capable of simultaneously addressing crush syndrome and hypothermia following an earthquake. Created entirely with local components, the device offers an innovative solution for first responders to assist victims trapped under rubble. We congratulate the students involved in this achievement and wish them continued success in their valuable contributions to the scientific community and to public health.
