Istinye University Ranked in the 501–600 Band Worldwide in Engineering and Achieved First Place in Turkey Among Foundation Universities in Life Sciences
Times Higher Education (THE) has released its 2026 Subject Rankings, evaluating the world’s leading universities across disciplinary fields. According to the results, Istinye University was ranked in the 501–600 band globally in the field of Engineering. The University also achieved a significant milestone by entering the 501–600 band in Computer Science for the first time, enhancing the international visibility of its work in information technologies and artificial intelligence. In the field of Life Sciences, Istinye University ranked first in Turkey among foundation (private) universities.
The UK-based university ranking organization Times Higher Education (THE) published its 2026 global subject rankings, once again recognizing Istinye University’s strong research capacity and academic performance at both national and international levels. According to the THE Subject Rankings 2026, the University demonstrated notable progress across multiple disciplines, particularly in engineering, health sciences, and information technologies.

Nationally, the University ranked 8th in Computer Science, 10th in Engineering, 6th in Physical Sciences, 20th in Clinical and Health Sciences, and 33rd in Life Sciences.

Istinye University also demonstrated a strong position among foundation universities in Turkey. It ranked 1st in Life Sciences, 2nd in Physical Sciences, 3rd in Computer Science, 6th in Engineering, and 5th in Clinical and Health Sciences among foundation universities nationwide.
