Türkiye Ranks Second in the World University Rankings!
According to the 2025 Interdisciplinary Science Ranking by Times Higher Education (THE), Türkiye stands out as
the second country with the highest number of universities globally, with 45 universities ranked in total.
- Istinye University ranked 4th among private universities in Turkey in the Times Higher Education Interdisciplinary Science Ranking.
Times Higher Education (THE), in collaboration with Schmidt Science Fellows, has published the inaugural “Interdisciplinary Science Rankings” (ISR) for 2024-2025. This ranking aims to assess and promote universities’ contributions to interdisciplinary scientific research.
The Times Higher Education Interdisciplinary Science Ranking is an important international metric that evaluates not only universities’ scientific research performance but also their effectiveness in interdisciplinary collaboration and sustainable research support systems.
