The program continued with a speech by the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Prof. Dr. Emir Yüzbaşıoğlu. Yüzbaşıoğlu stated, “Dentistry is a profound journey that cannot be confined to a lifetime. This white coat represents an ocean of lifelong learning. Today, we are here not only for a ceremony, but also to embark on a journey toward the heart of the medical profession, the meaning of the white coat, and the Hippocratic tradition that embodies thousands of years of professional philosophy.”
First-year students enrolled in both English and Turkish programs took their first step into their professional journey by wearing their white coats, presented by our academic staff. With strong participation from families, the session concluded with a group photograph.
