The Science Medal of İstinye University was awarded to Prof. Dr. Michael Lim from Stanford University, internationally recognized for his cancer research.

The 2024 Science Medal from the Faculty of Medicine at İstinye University was presented to Prof. Dr. Michael Lim, Chair of the Department of Neurosurgery at Stanford University, known for his pioneering work in neurosurgery and oncology. Prof. Dr. Michael Lim, who attended the ceremony held at the İstinye University Vadı Main Campus Conference Center in November, said, “I am deeply honored to receive this award presented by İstinye University.
