Istinye University’s Clubs Fair Attracted Great Interest with the Participation of Over 75 Student Clubs

Held on October 14, 2025, the Istinye University Clubs Fair featured the participation of over 75 student clubs. In addition to health, technology, culture, and arts, clubs working in the field of social responsibility also took an active part in the event. Istinye University’s student clubs aim to make significant contributions to students’ academic, personal, and social development through their productive areas of work.

Through their creative initiatives, student clubs at Istinye University provide valuable opportunities for academic and personal growth. Academic clubs organize annual seminars and congresses that bring students together with professionals in their fields, creating spaces for meaningful exchange and professional development. Clubs focusing on science and technology foster innovation and open the door to new creative projects, while those working in social responsibility support the development of social awareness and community engagement.

Students Meet Professionals

At the Clubs Fair, student clubs showcased their work and ongoing projects, sharing ideas and experiences with fellow students. Clubs in fields such as health management, pharmacy, psychology, medicine, and architecture contributed to students’ academic development and career orientation, while clubs dedicated to women’s rights, health literacy, clinical ontology, and search and rescue presented projects that promote social responsibility. By connecting students with leading professionals, the clubs support career growth and personal development. Social and artistic clubs, such as dance, music, and theater, offer opportunities for creative expression and collaboration through regular lessons and performances.

Science and technology clubs are particularly active, engaging in projects in areas such as energy and engineering, industrial design, artificial intelligence, and quantum physics. These clubs participate in national and international competitions and represent İstinye University with pioneering projects. Each year, they organize technology summits that host prominent speakers from various fields. The integration of technology and artificial intelligence into daily life for social benefit remains a key theme among these clubs.

“Joining a Club Taught Me the Importance of Collaboration and Teamwork”

Students attending the 2025 Clubs Fair shared how being part of a student club has helped them develop discipline, teamwork, and a sense of unity. They emphasized that engaging in activities related to their interests allows them to grow personally and gain new perspectives for their future careers.

Beril Çitil, Team Captain of the Artificial Intelligence Team and a member of the Quantum Dynamics Club, shared her experience:

“Before even entering professional life, I’ve already built a network and developed a sense of work discipline. Joining a club taught me the importance of collaboration and teamwork. What excites me the most is developing projects in artificial intelligence fields such as Computer Vision and Deep Learning from scratch, based on my own research.”

Muhammed Baki Akyol from the Faculty of Pharmacy reflected on his experience with the ISUPA Faculty of Pharmacy Club:

“As a pharmacy student, I definitely recommend joining a club. At our annual ISU KON Congress, we meet new products and hear from speakers from leading pharmaceutical companies. It helps us grow both in networking and experience.”

Istinye University’s student clubs play a vital role in enriching campus life. Through their broad and productive fields of activity, they equip students with the skills and experience needed in their academic and career paths while also making a lasting impact on their personal and social development.
