In collaboration with İstinye University and UNESCO, the first UNESCO MOST School in Turkey will be launched under the Social Transformation Management Program (MOST)on the theme “Artificial Intelligence and Migration Governance.”
About UNESCO MOST Schools:
MOST Schools are capacity-building activities focused on strengthening evidence-based decision-making
competencies in UNESCO member states. Designed based on demands arising from social needs, MOST Schools
prioritize initiatives aimed at developing the capacity of researchers and decision-makers. The schools play a key
role in promoting positive social change for inclusive and sustainable development. As part of the training programs to be conducted in collaboration with UNESCO, the contribution of artificial intelligence applications to migration policies will be examined, and sustainable solution possibilities in the social domain will be explored.
The project team, led by Prof. Dr. Ayselin Yıldız from the Department of International Relations at Istinye University, includes Prof. Dr. Osman Can Ünver, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Sundu, Assistant Professor İsmail Ergen, Assistant Professor Levent Korkmaz, and Kazım Timuçin Utkan.
