Education Meets Industry: Istinye University and Panço Sign Collaboration Agreement

A New Step in Industry Collaboration

Istinye University has added a new partnership to its growing list of collaborations designed to provide students with hands-on learning opportunities and to strengthen ties with the industry. A collaboration protocol was signed with Panço, a 100% Turkish brand founded in 1978 and distinguished by its quality, reliability, and over half a century of experience in designing apparel for children aged 0 to 14.

Operating in nearly 400 locations across Türkiye and around the world, Panço employs an ecosystem of 2,000 people and offers products that reflect the energy, creativity, and joy of children. The brand’s long-standing experience and commitment to sustainable production serve as a valuable source of inspiration for students.

Hands-On Learning Opportunities for Students

Through this collaboration, Istinye University students will have the opportunity to benefit from Panço’s extensive experience and observe closely the processes of design, production, marketing, and brand management. This initiative aims to help students put their theoretical knowledge into practice, engage directly with the industry, and bring their innovative and creative ideas to life in professional settings.

The protocol was signed by Prof. Dr. Erkan İbiş, Rector of Istinye University, and Yusuf Kuzu, Board Member of Panço. The collaboration aims to contribute to students’ career development, strengthen university–industry cooperation, and enrich the learning process through practical, sector-based experience.

Through such partnerships with leading sectors, Istinye University continues to uphold its holistic educational approach that prepares students not only academically but also for the realities and demands of professional life.
