Istinye University has signed a significant collaboration protocol with Kıvılcım Association, an organization guided by the belief that “a spark is enough for everything” and committed to social progress and sustainable change. This partnership combines the university’s vision of social responsibility and civic contribution with the dynamism of civil society, laying the foundation for impactful, youth-centered projects.
Protocol Signed by Representatives of Both Institutions
The signing ceremony was held between Istinye University Rector Prof. Dr. Erkan İbiş and Okan Çınar on behalf of Kıvılcım Association. University administrators, academics, and association representatives also attended the event. The protocol, signed in a spirit of mutual goodwill, is considered the first step toward a long-term collaboration.
“Small Sparks Will Ignite Major Transformations”
Prof. Dr. Erkan İbiş emphasized the significance of the collaboration for the university’s social vision, stating:
“Through this partnership, we will implement projects focused on equal opportunities in education, environmental awareness, and a culture of volunteerism. By combining the spirit of solidarity embraced by Kıvılcım Association with Istinye University’s innovative academic approach, we aim to transform small sparks into major transformations.”
Youth Empowerment for Social Impact
This cooperation protocol aims to develop concrete projects in areas such as social responsibility, public awareness, and sustainable development, with the active participation of students. Initiatives in education, the environment, human rights, social entrepreneurship, and volunteerism will not only provide students with hands-on experience but also create lasting impact across various segments of society.
This strategic partnership merges the university’s academic expertise and the potential of its students with the field experience and social sensitivity of Kıvılcım Association. The primary focus of the collaboration is to nurture young individuals as agents of change and expand social impact to broader communities.
