With the support of Başakşehir Municipality, Istnye University once again demonstrated its strong position in the entrepreneurship ecosystem at the fifth Start-up Investment Summit organized by In4Startups this year. Represented by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Bestami Özkaya, Director of Strategic R&D and Resource Development Dr. Muaz Mücahit Yıldırım, and Director of the Technology Transfer Office Ömer Ertuğrul Meral, the university had the opportunity to share its entrepreneurship and innovation-focused work with a wide range of stakeholders at the summit.
During the program, which was followed with great interest, the university was awarded the Entrepreneur-Friendly University Award thanks to its entrepreneurship-focused activities and the support mechanisms it offers. In addition, Ayşegül Gündüz (Loopyfr), one of the entrepreneurs from İstinye Garage, won the Promising Female Entrepreneur Award for her work in strengthening the presence and potential of women in the field of entrepreneurship. This success once again demonstrated Istınye University’s determination to support qualified entrepreneurs through both its strong entrepreneurship center and its continuously growing innovation ecosystem.
