The IEEE Blockchain Summit Istanbul 2025 was hosted by our university. Organized by IEEE Blockchain Turkey, the summit featured numerous speakers with the aim of raising awareness about blockchain technologies and their application areas and sharing the latest information.

The IEEE Blockchain Summit Istanbul 2025 took place on November 13-14, 2025, at our University’s Valley Campus. This summit, which we partnered with, was organized by IEEE Blockchain Turkey. Supported by the IEEE Blockchain Technical Committee, the IEEE Turkey Section, and student blockchain groups, the summit hosted renowned experts in the field.
The opening speeches of the summit were delivered by Prof. Dr. Şeref Sağıroğlu (IEEE Blockchain Turkey Chair), Prof. Dr. Nizamettin Aydın (IEEE Turkey Section Chair), Ramesh Ramadoss (IEEE Blockchain Technical Community Chair), Prof. Dr. İlhami Çolak (Director of the Graduate School), and Prof. Dr. Hatice Gülen (Vice Rector).
A New Perspective on the Global Blockchain Ecosystem
Emerging blockchain technologies have the potential to revolutionize various fields such as finance, healthcare, energy, security, and logistics. With this perspective, the summit discussed current developments and highlighted initiatives that will strengthen Turkey’s position in this technology and enable it to play a more active role in global competition.
New Ideas, New Projects in the Evolving Blockchain Ecosystem
The IEEE Blockchain Summit, held in English, brought many different opportunities for participants. Participants gained access to up-to-date information on blockchain technologies and acquired new ideas that they could apply in their projects. They also had the opportunity to establish collaborations to develop new ventures among stakeholders from different sectors. The summit provided important outcomes for both academic and industrial circles.
