Istinye University hosted a delegation of high-level scientists from the People’s Republic of China at its R&D floor as part of the “Symposium on Advanced Materials for Flexible Electronics (SAMFE 2025)” held in Istanbul.
The scientific event, jointly organized by Istanbul Technical University and Nanjing Tech University, welcomed prominent scholars including Prof. Dr. Wei Huang (member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, CAS, and Nanjing Tech University), Prof. Dr. Mustafa Eginligil, and Prof. Dr. Ze Xiang Shen (Nanyang Technological University).
Academia–Industry Collaborations Discussed in Depth
During the visit, hosted by the R&D Directorate of Istinye University, the delegation had the opportunity to closely examine our university’s research infrastructure. Following the tour, a dinner was held where discussions took place on potential collaborations, joint projects, and academic–industry partnerships.
Strengthening International Relations
The event was highly productive in terms of establishing scientific and technological bridges between the two countries. This strategic meeting marked a significant step forward in our vision to expand innovation- and industry-focused international collaborations in the Asian region.
