The UK-based university ranking organization, Times Higher Education (THE), has released its list of the best universities worldwide for 2025, in 11 specific subject areas. In the field of Engineering, Istinye University has ranked 428th globally, placing it within the 400-500 band alongside Bilkent and Boğaziçi Universities. In Turkey’s Engineering Subject Rankings, Istinye University has secured the 7th position among 64 universities. Furthermore, the University ranked 1st in the International Outlook category, 2nd in Research Quality, and 6th in International Outlook in the subject of Medicine & Health Sciences.

Among 1,488 institutions selected from 97 countries and regions, 26 Turkish universities made it into the top 1,000 for Engineering. Competing with these prestigious institutions, İstinye University achieved remarkably close scores in Student-Faculty Ratio, Research Productivity, and Citation Impact. Additionally, the University demonstrated outstanding success in Research Strength, scoring 98.2/100, and in Internationally Co-Authored Research Outputs, an exceptional score of 99.1/100, marking a significant milestone in the field of Engineering.
