Istinye University Faculty of Medicine Continues the Science and Curiosity Talks with the Principle: “Curiosity and Science Set Us Free!”

The Science and Curiosity Talks, organized by Istinye University Faculty of Medicine, continue under the guiding principle: “Curiosity and Science Set Us Free!”

The first conference of the series, titled “Caravaggio: His Life and Works,” was successfully held. Art historian and author Celil Sadık was the guest speaker, while the session was moderated by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Türker Kılıç. Highlighting the core philosophy of the series, Prof. Dr. Kılıç stated, “From the very beginning of this conference series, our motto has been: Curiosity and Science Set Us Free.”

The second event in the Science and Curiosity Talks series took place under the title “Philosophy I: Naturalism and the Political.” This conference, featuring contributions from Prof. Dr. M. Ertan Kardeş and Prof. Dr. Kurtul Gülenç, explored the concept of naturalism in philosophy and the political conceptualization of the body.
